Mike & Miranda

A little about the couple-

Miranda grew up in Ohio and moved here the summer after she graduated high school. Huge Buckeyes fan! (We promise not to hold that against her!)

Mike is from Billings and went to West High.

*Photographer note: I first met Mike when we worked at the Cracker Barrel together. We are both die hard Cowboys fans which always kept us in contact. That and the very first snowfall of the year. (He loves the snow and I don't) I also learned how terrible of a parallel parker I am with Mike.

Where they met:

The met at Overflo- Emmanuel Baptist Church's college/career ministry.

"She focused on God. He did the same. God gave them each other."

Who asked who first?

"Definitely Mike with the asking me out first as well as liking me first."

How did you know he was the one?

"Hmmmm, well this is really not cliche but it's real life.... I actually think I knew he was the one the first time we got into a disagreement. I realized, even though I was kind of mad at him, I still loved him and couldn't imagine myself with anyone else. There were little moments after that, but that's the first 'Oh Crap! This is for real!' moment I remember.

What do you love most about each other?

Miranda: "My favorite thing about Mike is his heart for God & the people in his life. Oh, and of course his laugh!"

Mike: "My favorite thing about Miranda is her love for the Lord."

This beautiful couple will be wed at the 2905 on historic Montana Avenue on May 27th, 2017.

James & Kassie

James & Kassie:

I first met this adorable couple at Off the Leaf coffee shop. Instantly, I knew these two were going to be tons of fun to work with!

A little about the couple:

Kassie grew up around Billings and was a heights girl. She attended Skyview High School and worked at Lake Hills Golf Course. She is currently a nursing student at MSU-B.

James also grew up in Billings, however, he was a Senior Bronc. James went to school at MSU and received his Bachelors' in education. (As stated, I knew we would work well together!)

How they met:

While Kassie was working as a barista at Lake Hills, James worked in the pro shop. Her manager kept telling James there was a "cute girl upstairs". Finally, James and Kassie met.

"When we met, I shook James' hand like a total idiot! I guess he didn't mind because he still took me on our first date to IHOP. He then asked for a hug afterwards hahahah."

When did they know?

Kassie: "I think I always knew, from the beginning. I was always calling him 'my husband' to my friends because I had the biggest crush on him!"

James: "I knew she was the one when she, the Cowboys loving girlfriend of mine, let me name our dog after Calvin Johnson."

What they love most about the other:

Kassie: "His perspective on life. He's very carefree and puts a positive spin on EVERYTHING which keeps me from taking myself too seriously!"

James: "Would probably be her compassion for others."

I cannot wait to capture this couples wedding on July 22nd, 2017 at Bridger Bowl.
